Sardines and Health

Bite for delicious bite it would be hard to find anything healthier than a sardine. High in heart-healthy omega-3s and loaded with calcium, sardines also contain iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese and B vitamins. They’re even low in mercury, so is it any wonder that they’ve been nicknamed “health food in a can?” But don’t be too distracted by all this talk of health. There’s plenty for your taste buds to love too.
